What? Mexico Wants To Dictate Internal U.S. Law?

This is nothing but complete hypocritical arrogance on the part of the Mexican government. Mexico encourages its citizens to illegally enter the U.S. and then turns around and slaps us in the face if we try to enforce our own, very Constitutional, immigration law.

First, let’s remember that Mexico is the progenitor of one of the largest human rights violations crises in the Western Hemisphere thanks to their own policy of dealing with illegals inside their own borders. You can read about those violations here:

Letters To Webb And Warner Concerning Mexican Immigration Policy

From Fox News:

Mexico on Tuesday asked a federal court in Arizona to declare the state’s new immigration law unconstitutional, arguing that the country’s own interests and its citizens’ rights are at stake.

Their own interest? Let’s see what that means. That means they can allow their drug lords unfettered access to the American border. That means they can send their citizens across the border to get free medical care from our Emergency Room’s at the expense of the American taxpayer. That means they can go on kidnapping and raping illegals within their own borders but cry foul at the very humane treatment we give illegals here. It’s all propanganda and Obama and the media have bought it hook, line and sinker.

Did you ever hear the joke about the Mexican who brought a knife to a gunfight? Well this case is a joke about a Mexican lawyer who brought an arrogant attitude to a Constitutional fight. If these Mexican lawyers were so good, then why didn’t they read 8 U.S.C. 1357. Had they done so, they would realize how idiotic their suit is considering that Arizona’s law is a mirror of existing Federal law. Before they can go after Arizona, they have to go after the U.S. Federal government. Do you think Obama is going to allow that?

Speaking of Obama, if he shows preference for the Mexicans over American citizens, then this nation will be entering into a dark age in which violence may very well result. Obama and his leftists cronies cannot keep throwing fuel onto this fire without expecting a flash-over at some point.

James Carville Asks Obama: “What Took You So Long?”

Yes, Carville really said that.

U.S.-Mexican Border Security Continues To Deteriorate

Despite Barack Obama’s May 5, 2010 claim that the Federal government has secured the border, violence continues, especially when Mexican authorities flatly refuse to control their side of the border. This refusal to control their own citizens has resulted in two deaths, Anastasio Hernandez Rojas and Sergio Adrian Hernandez Huereca, the latter known to be a drug smuggler.

From Sara A. Carter in the Washington Examiner:

After the shooting, Mexico opened a homicide investigation, and the FBI also commenced a probe of the death. Mexican President Felipe Calderone said he was “shocked and outraged” regarding the two deaths, and Mexico’s foreign affairs minister said shooting at the teen in El Paso was a “disproportionate use of force.”

But for U.S. agents working the border, the deaths illustrate the stark reality of a violent situation that threatens to spin out of control.

“Enough is enough,” said T.J. Bonner, president of the National Border Patrol Council, which represents U.S. agents.

“The Mexican government demanding a full investigation and pretending they have no control or responsibility over what happened is unbelievable,” Bonner said. “They openly encourage people to cross. Nobody shows up to stop the rock throwers, smugglers on their side. It’s a terrible thing that they are allowing criminals to gather on their side of the border to assault our agents.”

How long will our government remain asleep at the switch? Here is an especially telling fact about how hypocritical the Mexican government is on this issue:

“Do you think U.S. Border Patrol agents would allow American teenagers to throw rocks at Mexican police or military from our side of the border into Mexico?” a Department of Homeland Security official said. “It would never happen. But daily, agents and officers are confronted by thugs while Mexican law enforcement rarely lifts a finger and many times are a part of the problem. “

Mexican Police Officer Killed Because He Was Armed With A Toy Gun

This comes from the “Well, Duh!” Department.

From KRGV News Channel 5, Harlingen, Texas:

REYNOSA, Mexico – City officials in Reynosa say their police officers need their guns back. The Mexican military took the officers’ guns away last week.

Mexican officials say one of their own was shot when he was trying to stop an armed robber. The officer pulled out a toy gun, since he did not have a real one. The suspect did not give in, and instead he allegedly shot the officer several times.

Reynosa officials say this proves unarmed police are in danger.

This also proves that the gun-control nuts who think that passing laws to disarm everyone will somehow make us all safer, are absolutely wrong. Looks like the Mexican military forgot to take the guns away from the criminals before they took them away from the police.

And how many among us believe that the criminals will voluntarily turn in their firearms just because some leftist politicians passed a law?

As for Reynosa, now that the criminals know the police can’t fight back, do you think the violent crime rate will go up or down? My bet is that it is going to spike upward.
