Palestinian Protestor Yells Anti-Semitic Curse, ANSWER Refuses To Condemn The Comment

Who are the new Nazis? Clearly, the new Nazi Party has an adamant believer in a Palestinian woman from Ft. Lauderdale who believes that the Jewish people should be sent “back to the oven.” She was referring to the method in which the Nazis gassed the European Jews back during the 30′s and 40′s before cremating the remains in an oven.

This woman was part of a protest organized by the ANSWER (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism) Coalition. But, the ANSWER leader of the Ft. Lauderdale protest flatly refused to condemn the anti-Semitic statements made by his followers.

Most of the chants were run-of-the-mill; men and women waving Palestinian flags called Israel’s invasion of Gaza a “crime,” while the pro-Israel group carried signs calling the Hamas-run territory a “terror state.” But as the protest continued and crowds grew, one woman in a hijab began to shout curses and slurs that shocked Jewish activists in the city, which has a sizable Jewish population. “Go back to the oven,” she shouted, calling for the counter-protesters to die in the manner that the Nazis used to exterminate Jews during the Holocaust. “You need a big oven, that’s what you need,” she yelled.

The ANSWER leader of this protest was one Emmanuel Lopez who gave us a look at his own anti-Semitism by not condemning the offensive outburst.

The protest organizers, asked to comment on the woman’s overt call for Jewish extermination, said she was “insensitive” but refused to condemn her statement.

Perhaps because Emmanuel Lopez agrees with her belief that the Jews should be exterminated? Lopez himself admitted that anti-Semitism was a problem in the ranks of ANSWER. Why would such a problem exist if the leaders of ANSWER were serious about ending violence and racism?

Lopez, a state coordinator for ANSWER, admitted there is a problem with anti-Semitism within his organization’s ranks. But then he went on to call the supporters of Israel across the street “barbaric, racist” Zionist terrorists. “Zionism in general is a barbaric, racist movement that really is the cause of the situation in the entire Middle East,” Lopez said. The unidentified woman, who protest organizers said was a Muslim, wasn’t the only protester who raised hackles that day. Other demonstrators held signs that said “Nuke Israel,” …

Fascism is alive and well and it lives over on the left side of the political spectrum.

Dr. James Hansen: Unethically Manipulating The Data (Global Warming Junk Science)

It seems that Dr. James Hansen can’t keep his name out of the headlines, especially when he is caught engaging in the junk science that AGW alarmists cling to despite evidence to the contrary.

Now, Dr. Hansen is trying to re-write geophysical history by re-writing the temperature data from the time period of 1910 to 2008.

Dr. Gregory Young, neuroscientist and physicist, a doctoral graduate of the University of Oxford, Oxford, England, wrote an entry into the American Thinker explaining the scientific fraud that Dr. Hansen tried to get away with. From his article:

In yet another egregious display of Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW) arrogance, he changed the temperature data from 1910-2008 to reflect what is clearly a cooling trend to reflect a warming trend.

The blue lines are the raw data and the red lines are Dr. Hansen’s compensation. Apparently, Dr. Hansen is not okay with letting the data just be the data. He has to insert his own bias into it.

Indeed this past year (2008) is set to be the coolest since 2000, according to a preliminary estimate of global average temperature that is due to be released this month by the Met Office’s Hadley Centre in Great Britain. The global average for 2008 should come in close to 14.3C, which is 0.14C below the average temperature for 2001-07.

This flies completely in the face of global warming theory which clearly states that as so-called greenhouse gases increase, the temperature must increase as well. But, greenhouse gas emissions have increased and the temperatures have decreased. Global warming theory has failed a major test here.

Dr. Young also re-print an excerpt from Dr. David Deming, associate professor of arts and sciences at the University of Oklahoma who has published numerous peer-reviewed research articles:

“Environmental extremists and global warming alarmists are in denial and running for cover…. To the extent global warming was ever valid, it is now officially over. It is time to file this theory in the dustbin of history, next to Aristotelean physics, Neptunism, the geocentric universe, phlogiston, and a plethora of other incorrect scientific theories, all of which had vocal and dogmatic supporters who cited incontrovertible evidence. Weather and climate change are natural processes beyond human control. To argue otherwise is to deny the factual evidence.”

It is high time we start paying attention to real scientists like Dr. Gregory Young and Dr. David Deming and send pseudo-researchers like Dr. James Hansen packing.

Nancy Pelosi Brings The First Vestige Of Change To Washington: Bans Republicans From Offering Alternative Legislation, Enables Back-Room Deals

Well America, you voted for change, and you are about to get it, although it is probably not the change you were hoping for. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has solidified her power in the House of Representatives by doing away with several rules that the Republicans brought to the chamber back in 1995. These rules were an effort on the part of the GOP to ensure that all elected officials who participated in the legislative process had a fair chance at making their voices heard.

Now, Pelosi wants to make sure that only the Democrats’ voices are heard and has cut the GOP and any other opposition out of the legislative loop.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi plans to re-write House rules today to ensure that the Republican minority is unable to have any influence on legislation. Pelosi’s proposals are so draconian, and will so polarize the Capitol, that any thought President-elect Obama has of bipartisan cooperation will be rendered impossible before he even takes office. … In reaction, the House Republican leadership is sending a letter today to Pelosi to object to changes to House Rules this week that would bar Republicans from offering alternative bills, amendments to Democrat bills or even the guarantee of open debate accessible by motions to recommit for any piece of legislation during the entire 111th Congress. These procedural abuses, as outlined in the below letter obtained by HUMAN EVENTS, would also include the repeal of six-year limit for committee chairmen and other House Rules reform measures enacted in 1995 as part of the Contract with America.

Pelosi’s new rules will make secret, back-room deals the norm again while removing any transparency that the GOP tried to bring to Washington back in 1995. Non-Democrats will not be allowed to offer dissenting voices nor will any minority party be allowed to offer alterntive legislation on major issues.

Here is what the Republican House rules did that Nancy Pelosi wants to end:

Reforms to the House Rules as part of the Contract with America were designed to open up to public scrutiny what had become under this decades-long Democrat majority a dangerously secretive House legislative process. The Republican reform of the way the House did business included opening committee meetings to the public and media, making Congress actually subject to federal law, term limits for committee chairmen ending decades-long committee fiefdoms, truth in budgeting, elimination of the committee proxy vote, authorization of a House audit, specific requirements for blanket rules waivers, and guarantees to the then-Democrat minority party to offer amendments to pieces of legislation. Pelosi’s proposed repeal of decades-long House accountability reforms exposes a tyrannical Democrat leadership poised to assemble legislation in secret, then goose-step it through Congress by the elimination of debate and amendment procedures as part of America’s governing legislative process.

Cleary, the Dems are the new Fascists in town.

Also, I wonder what the reaction from the Dems would have been if the GOP were in power and had done what Pelosi is doing.
