School Clams Up On ‘Gay’ Pledge Cards Given To Kindergartners

Here is the latest effort made by gays and lesbians to gain access to our children. A kindergarten teacher, yes, a kindergarten teacher handed out pledge cards to her students and had them put signatures on them. What were the cards? Look here:

From Fox News:

During a celebration of National Ally Week, Tara Miller, a teacher at the Faith Ringgold School of Arts and Science in Hayward, Calif., passed out cards produced by the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network to her class of kindergartners.

The cards asked signers to be “an ally” and to pledge to “not use anti-LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) language or slurs; intervene, when I feel I can, in situations where others are using anti-LGBT language or harassing other students and actively support safer schools efforts.”

The school has acknowledged that the exercise was not appropriate for kindergartners.

Parent Adela Voelker, who declined to be interviewed in depth for this report, said she was furious when she found her child’s signature on one of the cards. She said she contacted a non-profit legal defense organization specializing in parents’ rights.

Meanwhile, a school board member, Jeff Cook, says some type of action should be taken.

“We have a general rule that all instruction should be age appropriate, and this clearly was not,” said Cook, who has served on the school board for five years.

But it is looking like the libs on the school board are going to try and brush this whole thing under the rug:

Asked last week if the district planned to take action against Miller, Joyner said she would have to look into the incident. On Thursday she told FOXNews.com that she did not have an answer for the question and that she would no longer be doing any media interviews.

Gays and lesbians have been trying for years to undermine parental rights in the United States and they are becoming more and more blatent about it. As parents, we have the right (and duty) to say what is appropriate or inappropriate for our children, but the gay and lesbian politcal machine has been working overtime to undermine that right and make leftist teachers the final arbiter in such lessons.

MUST WATCH: Black Panther Vid From Amatuer Vlogger

This comes from Amanda Carpenter over at Town Hall:

A brave man, self-identified as a Pennsylvania student, confronts the Black Panthers who were guarding the doors of a Philly polling station.

“Who are you with?” the man asks the two men dressed in Black Panther gear standing outside the doors of 1221 Fairmount Ave.

“Uh, security,” one of the Black Panthers replies. He tells the cameraman he”wonders why everybody is coming up taking pictures.”

“I think you might be a little bit intimidating that you have a stick in your hand,” the student said. “You have a nightstick in your hand.”

“You have a camera phone!” the Panther tells him.

“A camera phone is not a weapon,” the camera man answers.

Those Black Panthers should not be anywhere near any polling place, especially if they are wielding anything that could be used as weapons.

Fannie Mae Execs Wine, Dine & Golf After Bailout

From the “Complete Chutzpuh” department:

DALLAS (CBS 11 News) ― The Cowboys Golf Course in Grapevine is an exceptional place to play. Hitting driver there is a dream for many local golfers.

The plush rolling fairways and smooth greens can command one of the highest fees for a public course in all of North Texas. But it seems cost was no barrier for some high ranking executives from the Fannie Mae office in Dallas, which is located just off the North Dallas Tollway.

Documents obtained by CBS 11 show at least 14 people in a recent Fannie Mae outing teed off at Cowboys at 1:30 p.m. on September 29 — 22 days after the federal government took over Fannie to save the massive mortgage company from failure. The taxpayers tab for the golf outing was $6,279.26.

According to this receipt, Fannie paid for 20 golfers. The 14 listed on the tee sheet included three Fannie executives from Dallas, two Fannie execs from Chicago and one from Washington, DC. The cost for golf alone was $3,316.

According to the contract, golfing included a mango towel service. The contract also shows additional guests joined the golfers for dinner where they dined on over $1,700 worth of buffet food.

Then came the bar tab. According to this receipt, they drank 49 bottles or cans of domestic beer, five Grey Goose vodkas, six Absolute vodkas, some Tanqueray, and 31 glasses of the house red wine. The total bar tab was $555.
